_{Time for an update, eh?}

HELLO ALL!

Ahhh. Easter time. To me, Easter means chocolate and holidays- the best kind of combination.
Days off give me more time to get out of the house and take photos and stuff, which I love. That, and gives me time to slack around on my computer alllllll daaaaay...
So.
...Wanna know what happened to me that's awesome and makes me jump?!

Well, it started off I borrowed one of my school's SLR cameras to take to a Wedding - I wanted to include some wedding shots in my photography class folio, y'know, thought it would be awesome.
The school gave me this horrible camera with plates missing from the front, broken buttons and a dead internal battery. When the shutter went off, it sounded like cutlery dropping onto tiles.
It was in that bad condition.
So, I traveled 6 hours to get to the wedding; wrapped the camera neatly in electrical tape so light couldn't get to my film; guessed the aperture; shot the photos as quietly as I could; got people to help me wind the film back in because buttons were broken and things needed to be held down as I did so; then returned to the school and complained.
...*catches breath*
My teacher fobbed me off and thought it was really funny
_{And only 7 or so of the photographs turned out okay - none of the bride, unfortunately ;_;}
So so so... Later on in the week I went to my boyfriend's house for dinner, and his dad was watching me take photographs of their cat. He grabbed my camera _{(another school loan)}, told me it was ridiculous and went inside. He came back out with his SLR which hadn't been touched in years, and gave it to me to keep.

Lenses, case, flash, filters, everything.
And it's soooooo purrdy

Anyway, that's my buzz for the year- along with a PAL Pokémon 64 that was given to me.
Most of you wouldn't know, but I have quite a console collection - there are 4 GameBoys, an SP, a DS and a 64 sitting on my desk as I type just now. Mainly Nintendo stuff. It's a passion me and my boyfriend share, and people give us stuff every now and then, which is awesome.
It's amazing how generous people can be when you ask.

I bought The World Ends With You yesterday from EB Games. It was in the 2 for $50 pile - who would have guessed?! Would have easily been overlooked though; this is what the cover looked like [link]
